Vaishali Mahotsava-2016 started on Tuesday evening 20 April, 2016.The three-day Mahotsava was inaugurated by state minister of tourism Anita Devi near Abhishekh-Puskarni.

Vaishali mahotsava is held to celebrate the birth anniversary of the Jain Tirthankar, Lord Mahavir on the full moon day of the month of “Vaisakh” (mid-April).
